We’ve awarded more than $6,000 in grants to projects in the community since the foundation’s launch in 2019. We use three pillars as our guiding principles in granting dollars to our community and honoring donor intent:
Our grant application is open annually from April 1 through April 30. Currently, we offer $500 grant awards. Click the link below to learn more and apply for a grant today!
“In 2023, a new MN state law passed that mandates any “farm” that contains Cervids (elk, deer, caribou, moose – any antlered wild game) needs to have a secondary fence around their existing 8’ fence. Our club is passionate about our animals and see the benefit our sanctuary brings to the community of Glencoe. The support by GACF and other donors is wildly appreciated!”

"We were looking for more ways to bring a sense of community to our GlenFields residents, making days brighter for an average of 85 individuals per day. Through a partnership with Animal Inspirations, LLC, this new program engages certified therapy animals with residents to provide fun activities that stimulate both mind and body. This program launched early June of 2024, anticipating a total of 15 sessions through the end of 2024."

"In our small, rural communities, we need to bring support to our professionals to ensure safety and support in the daily work that we do. We’ve had successful events in the past, however expanded this year to include the hiring of a professional speaker and are grateful for the support of local funding sources such as GACF."

McLeod County Education and Drug Awareness (MEADA)
“This grant will help specifically with providing protection and education about the services we provide, and act as a quick resource to victims that is easily accessible and concealable. This resource not only helps our law enforcement spread our mission, but also provides confidential resources to those in our community who need our services the most.”
